Moto G05 with 6.67 inch FHD+ Display, MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme launched in India at ₹6,999

Moto G05, which was previously released in global markets, is now launching in India. The specifications and features remain identical to the global variant. Motorola is targeting the budget segment with this smartphone, offering it in a single memory configuration.

It has a 6.67″ FHD+ Display with a 90Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass 3 protection, IP52 water repellent, and water touch technology (you can play with the screen even when your hands are wet). And it is going to be the segment’s first to offer 1000 nits of peak brightness.

Under the hood, we will see MediaTek Helio G81 Extreme paired with up to 12GB of RAM Boost with 4GB of built-in RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone will boot from Android 15 out of the box, which Motorola claims to be segment’s only. Motorola will only offer 2 years of security patch updates and no OS upgrade with this smartphone.

The rear will have a 50MP quad-pixel camera, and the front will have an 8MP selfie shooter. Featuring a 5200 mAh battery, Motorola claims it will give you around 2 days of battery life (39 hrs talk time, 70 hrs playback, 19 hrs video playback, 28 hrs of internet browsing, 19 hrs of social media) and will ship with 18W fast charging support.

For sound, it has Dolby Atmos dual stereo speakers which will offer 7 times more powerful bass. It will come in two Pantone-curated color options, red and green, with an 8.1mm thickness and 178.8g weight.

Pricing and Availability

Moto G05 comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage and is available in two colors: Plum Red and Forest Green. Priced at ₹6,999, open sales will begin on January 13th through Flipkart, Reliance Digital, Motorola India website, and offline retailers.

Additionally, customers can receive benefits worth ₹5,000 when purchasing from Reliance Jio stores.
