Motorola Edge+ 2023 Finally Launched in US: Will Make its Way to Canada Soon
Motorola has finally unveiled its flagship device, the Motorola Edge+ 2023 in the US market and will be available for sale starting from the 25th of May, 2023. The smartphone will also be making its way soon to the Canadian market as well.

Motorola Edge+ 2023 Launched
The Motorola Edge+ 2023 has just been launched in the US market and from what it seems, the device is the global version of the previously launched Moto Edge 40 Pro, but with a better battery backup.
Regarding the specifications, the newly launched Motorola Edge+ 2023 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and will have a RAM of 8GB and internal storage of 256GB and 512GB. Motorola has also promised three years of OS updates along with four years of security updates for the device as well.
For its display, the smartphone features a 6.67″ AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The device will also have an adaptable refresh rate of 165Hz and will support HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
The smartphone at its rear also features a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary camera with OIS(optical image stabilization) support, a 12MP portrait camera, and a 50MP auto-focusing ultrawide camera which also has macro capabilities. The device also offers a 60MP front-facing camera which can capture 4K videos.
As mentioned, the Motorola Edge+ 2023 is equipped with a better 5100 mAh battery and will support a wired fast charge feature of 68W, a wireless fast charge feature of 15W, and a reverse wireless fast charge of 5W. It is to be noted that the previously launched Moto Edge 40 Pro supported a 128W fast charge feature.
Speaking about its build, the Motorola Edge+ 2023 is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on both of its sides and has an aluminum frame. It is also rated with an IP68 rating and is both dust and water-resistant.
In the US market, the Motorola Edge+ 2023 is launched with a starting price of $800 and will be made available via Amazon, Best Buy, and Motorola’s official website from the 25th of May 2023. It will also be made available via carriers like Spectrum Mobile, Boost Mobile, and Consumer Cellular.
The device will be making its way to Canada and will be available on Motorola’s official website on May 19 and will be priced at $1,300(Canadian Dollar).
