Motorola Edge 40 officially teased, YES it is coming to India
Motorola recently released the Motorola Edge 40 series, which includes the vanilla Edge 40 and the Edge 40 Pro, in Europe. However, there have been rumors that Motorola is planning to launch at least one version of the Edge 40 series in India. A previous report hinted that the Motorola Edge 40 would be launched in India, but this was not confirmed at the time.
Now, Motorola has officially tweeted a trailer for the Motorola Edge 40, which it has named “Find Your Edge”. In the trailer, Motorola does not mention the model by name but does provide a glimpse of the smartphone in Nebula Green color.

According to reports, Motorola will be launching the Edge 40 in three colors: Nebula Green, Lunar Blue, and Eclipse Black. However, there is a possibility that the company may introduce a Viva Magenta color variant at a later stage. Earlier tipster Evan Blass shared the promo video of the Motorola Edge 40 and the sound playing in the background is almost identical to that music.
Motorola has not provided any information on the launch date, but based on speculation, it is expected to be released in the last week of May.

Pricing
The Motorola Edge 40 was launched in Europe for €731.47 (approximately ₹65,553.70), so we can expect a similar price in India. However, it remains to be seen how Motorola positions this smartphone in the highly competitive Indian smartphone market. It will compete directly with the OnePlus 11 5G, which is priced at around ₹64,000 in India. Since this information is not yet official, we may have to wait a bit longer to get a clearer picture from the brand regarding pricing and specifications.
