Motorola Edge 50 Pro to be codenamed “Macan”: claims tipster

The smartphone brand Motorola has recently unveiled the Motorola Edge 40 Neo smartphone in the Peach Fuzz color variant in the Indian market. Now the brand is said to be working on a new smartphone- Moto X50 which was recently reported to have entered the beta stage.

Just like how Motorola Edge 40 Pro arrived as a rebranded version of Moto X40 in the global markets. This time also it is expected that the Motorola Edge 50 Pro could arrive as a rebranded version of the Moto X50. However, this is just an assumption and we do need to wait for the official confirmation regarding the same.

There was no information related to Motorola Edge 50 Pro revealed online but today tipster Evan Blass who goes by @EvLeaks on the X platform revealed that Motorola Edge 50 Pro is codenamed “Macan.”

The tipster also cleared the confusion that the codename is neither Macau, McCain nor McCann but it is “Macan.” Other than this no major details have yet emerged regarding the device but in the coming days, we might get to know some information.

Although if we talk about the Moto X50, earlier it was revealed that the smartphone could debut in the second quarter of 2024 while it was also tipped to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
