Motorola has launched the Edge 50 series in the global market along with the Bose-tuned Buds. The announced Moto Edge 50 series comprises the Edge 50 Ultra, Edge 50 Pro, and Edge 50 Fusion. On one side where the Pro version was recently launched in India, the Ultra and Fusion remained in reports. Motorola Edge 50 Ultra
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra features a 6.67-inch wide pOLED display that comes with a 144Hz refresh rate, and 2500 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It runs Android 14-based Hello UI.
In the camera department, the smartphone has a 50MP primary rear sensor, with OIS support, a 50MP secondary sensor with an ultra-wide lens and a 64MP telephoto shooter with up to 3x zoom. The front side of the smartphone comes with a 50MP selfie camera. It is backed by a 4500mAh battery that supports 125W wired and 50W wireless charging. The smartphone dimensions are 161.09mm x 72.38mm x 8.59mm in size and weighs 197g.
Motorola Edge 50 Fusion
The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion smartphone features a 6.7 inch wide pOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and 1600nits of peak brightness. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 inbuilt storage. It runs Android 14-based Hello UI out of the box.
In the camera department, the smartphone has a 50MP primary camera with a 13MP secondary camera with an ultra-wide lens. The front side of the smartphone comes with a 32MP selfie camera. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 68W wired fast charging. The dimensions of the smartphone are 161.9mm x 73.1mm x 7.9mm in size and weighs 174.9g.
Price and availability
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will be available in select markets across Europe, Asia, Latin America, and Oceania in the coming weeks starting at €999. The Motorola Edge 50 Fusion will be available in coming weeks in Europe, Latin America, and Asia starting at €399. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro smartphone will be soon available in European and Latin American markets with a starting price of €699.
