Motorola has been teasing the launch of a new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 smartphone recently and a few days back the brand confirmed that the device will be launched on April 16 for the global audience. Though the moniker is yet not revealed but it is assumed to be a Motorola Edge 50 Ultra smartphone. The color options and charging capacity of the device have also been revealed in the upcoming smartphone.
Now ahead of this upcoming launch, tipster Digital Chat Station has tipped a few specs of the device.
According to the tipster, the device will feature OLED centered single hole curved display that offers 1.5k resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. It will pack up a 50MP 1/1.3 main camera and a 75mm 3.2x periscope telephoto camera. It is already confirmed to support 125W fast charging while the tipster has mentioned that the device will be backed by a 4500mAh battery that supports 50W wireless charging. The smartphone is said to arrive with a metal middle frame and a glass body. As confirmed before it will be powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC.
The tipster has also shared the renders of this upcoming smartphone.
The above renders reveal that the Edge 50 Ultra will be arriving in Beige and Green color options that is already teased by the smartphone brand. On the rear side, a square camera module is present that houses three camera sensors and LED flash. A leather finish can be seen on the Green color variant on the rear side. The front features a punch-hole cutout for a selfie camera and a curved display. Volume and power buttons are present on the side. Dolby Atmos branding could be seen at the bottom of the device along with two ports.
