Motorola Edge Plus 2023 Appears on Geekbench and Google Play Console Listing
The upcoming Motorola Edge Plus 2023 smartphone has now been spotted on Geekbench and on the Google Play Console listing revealing some of its key specifications. The certifications also point to an imminent launch of the smartphone.

The upcoming Motorola Edge Plus 2023 smartphone has appeared on Geekbench and on the Google Play Console listing, revealing some of its key specifications. The smartphone has been certified with a model number XT2301-5. The Motorola X40 smartphone which was launched earlier in China also has the same model number. So we can say, Motorola Edge Plus 2023 is going to be a repackaged version of the Motorola X40 smartphone. The Motorola Edge Plus 2023 smartphone previously had also appeared on the Bluetooth SIG certification website, and all these certifications are suggesting an imminent launch.
According to the Google Play Console listing, the Motorola Edge Plus 2023 will be equipped with a chipset with model number QTI SM8550 (Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Processor) and will have an architecture with a Qualcomm Kryo 780 cores clocked at 3.00GHz, three Qualcomm Kryo 780 cores clocked at 2.50GHz, and four Qualcomm Kryo 780 cores having a clock speed of 1.80GHz. The smartphone will operate on the Android 13 operating system and will have the Qualcomm Adreno 730 GPU. The listing is for the 12GB variant.
The smartphone will also have a display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a screen density of 400DPI.
Now on Geekbench, the 6GB variant of the smartphone has appeared and from the listing, it seems that the smartphone has a clock speed lesser than the variant which appeared on the Google Play Console. The smartphone from its Geekbench listing has a primary clock speed of 2.84GHz. The Geekbench listing also confirms that the smartphone will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
On Geekbench, the smartphone has scored a multi-core score of 3199 points and a single-core score of 1084 points, which is fairly good. The listing also reveals that the smartphone has a motherboard with the codename “Kona”.
