Motorola is reportedly working on foldable with two extendable screen, information leaked

A few months back Motorola shocked the world by unveiling the new shape-shifting phone prototype. Before that company unveiled Motorola’s rollable smartphone concept at Lenevo’s MWC.

Now reports have come that Motorola is working on a new concept that is going to make smartphones compact and wide at the same time. This has been reported by the Website Rating in collaboration with David from @xleaks7 which has spotted the patent and the concept that the company is currently working on.

Based on the report this upcoming phone concept can be called Motorola Rizr Dual. This smartphone can be a compact foldable smartphone when unfolded, it’s display can expand almost four times more than in a compact folded position.

At the core of this new technology lies the dual device housing assembly equipped with translating blade assemblies featuring flexible displays. It is said to come with a controller that monitors the device’s position using sensors when the device is unfolded. Based on this translated mechanism are activated to extend two blade assemblies.

The patent file mentions that these blades can either emerge from the opposite side of the hinge or the adjacent side thus expanding the display.

As far as its unveiling is concerned company can unveil the Motorola Rizr Dual at MWC this year. Its availability remains under wrap as rollable is still being developed though not launched by any company.
