Motorola listed its upcoming MOTO G54 on its official Indian website ahead of its china launch

Motorola is gearing up to launch a series of smartphones in the G series over the next few weeks. The first one to be launched is the Moto G84 5G, scheduled for release in India on September 1st. While excitement surrounds the G84 release, the subsequent launch will be that of the G54 5G on September 5th in China. Previously, we exclusively revealed the specifications and renders of the Moto G54 5G. Additionally, the Moto G54 was recently spotted on various websites, including TENAA, TDRA, 3C, BIS, and even a Danish website.

Specification revealed

Ahead of its official launch, Motorola has updated its Indian webpage with comprehensive specifications for the G54 5G. According to the listing, the G84 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset and will feature 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Motorola claims that this combination, particularly the 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, is a first in the segment. The device will be equipped with a 6000mAh battery that supports 30W charging.

Motorola further asserts that the G54 will introduce the first 50MP OIS camera in its segment. The smartphone will also incorporate Quad Pixel technology to significantly enhance low-light sensitivity by fourfold. For selfie enthusiasts, there will be a 16MP front camera, accompanied by a Face Retouch feature designed to automatically enhance images.

Regarding the display, the G54 will sport a 120Hz, 6.5-inch FHD+ IPS LCD screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio. The audio experience will include speakers enhanced with Dolby Atmos technology. The G54 5G will come with three color options namely Mint Green, Midnight Blue, and Pearl Blue.

However, it’s worth noting that while the TENAA listing indicated a battery capacity of 4850mAh, the official Indian listing indicates a capacity of 6000mAh. One more difference that I noticed is that the Chinese variant may come with 10W charging(Via TENAA) while the Indian variant states it would come with 30W charging. This suggests the possibility of two different versions of the smartphone: one for the Chinese market and another for the global market.

While there is no mention of the exact launch date for other markets, an announcement can be expected soon given that the product page is already live on the website.
