Motorola Moto Edge 40 Pro gets TDRA & EEC certification, model number leaked
The newest Motorola Edge 40 series flagship smartphones are about to go on sale. Before any formal announcement, the company’s top-tier Edge 40 Pro model was located on a certification website.
On the TDRA website, the company’s upcoming premium product was recently displayed getting certification. This certification certificate also disclosed the phone’s model number, XT2301-4. It effectively confirms the name the device will go by in the public eye.
It is also predicted that the Moto X40 model, which is rumored to go on sale in China soon, will be the rebranded Edge 40 Pro. In other words, the TDRA database also predicts a quick release of the next smartphone.
Since the Motorola Moto Edge 40 Pro has the model number XT2301, it should be noted that it is simply a rebranded version of the X40 model. In addition to the TDRA listing, the smartphone was certified on the EEC website.
Unfortunately, neither of the new web listings divulges any of the finer details. The internal specifications or design of the Edge 40 Pro is not yet clear. We do, however, currently have previous rumors and leaks about the Moto X40.
What are the expected specifications of the Motorola Moto Edge 40 Pro phone?
The gadget is expected to come with Qualcomm’s upcoming flagship CPU, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. Additionally, it has been established that this chip will support LPDDR5X RAM.
The Edge 40 Pro is believed to have three cameras on the back: a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens. The smartphone would have a front-facing OLED display with a curved screen and a refresh rate of 165Hz, as well as 68W rapid charging capabilities.
It is also expected to have a 4500-5000 mAh battery capacity, and a 6.67″ FHD+ OLED display.
