Motorola Razr+ 2023 Global variant appears on TDRA certification with a new name

So, all the rumors and leaks about the new addition to the Motorola Razr lineup, the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra (also known as Motorola Razr+ (2023)), are finally taking shape. Previously leaked renders of the Motorola Razr+ 2023 suggested that the device may have a larger cover display. We also shared the codename of the smartphone, Juno. Also, according to tipster Evan Blass, the smartphone’s launch announcement is expected on June 1st.

Furthermore, there is good news for Motorola Razr fans as the famous tipster has spotted the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra on the TDRA certification website with the model number X2321-1. This same model number has already appeared on the Chinese 3C certification website. According to the FCC certification, there are three model numbers for the Motorola Razr 2023: XT2321-1, XT2321-3, and XT2321-5, suggesting that Motorola is planning to launch smartphones with different names in the global market.

According to the tipster, model number XT2321-5 has been registered in Canada via REL certification with the name Motorola Razr+ 2023. The TDRA certification website now shows the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra, indicating that Motorola plans to launch this smartphone under different names in different countries.

Now let’s talk about some of the expected and known specs of this smartphone

According to the FCC certification, the upcoming Razr+ (2023) smartphone will support 33W fast charging and boast a dual-cell battery capacity of 3,640mAh. The device will also offer connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5, and NFC.

Several reports have suggested that the Razr+ will be an enhanced version of last year’s Razr, with improvements in various areas. The phone is expected to feature a 6.7-inch foldable P-OLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it may be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset.

The Razr+ (2023) will run on the My UX-based Android 13 operating system and include a side-facing fingerprint scanner. While other details about the device remain unknown at this time, it appears that the Razr+ will be a premium smartphone with advanced features and a focus on foldable technology.
