Motorola will announce the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra clamshell phone on June 1. The global launch event is also expected to see the arrival of a toned-down Razr model called the Motorola Razr 40. Early rumours dubbed it the Motorola Razr Lite. The alleged Razr 40 has now appeared in the databases of Geekbench and China’s 3C certification. These listings have revealed the chipset, RAM, OS, and fast charging capabilities of the device.
Starting with the Geekbench listing, the alleged Motorola Razr 40 has appeared with model number XT2323-3 on the benchmarking site. It reveals that it is powered by a Qualcomm chip that consists of 1 x 2.4GHz CPU core, 3 x 2.36GHz CPU core, and 4 x 1.80GHz CPU core. As per the source code of the listing, the SoC is equipped with the Adreno 644 GPU. These clues are enough to state that the Razr 40 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.
The Geekbench listing further reveals that the device has 12 GB of RAM and Android 13 OS. In the single-core and multi-core tests of Geekbench, the device scored 1019 and 2545 points, respectively.
The same XT2323-3 variant has appeared in 3C’s database. As can be seen in the above screenshot, the certification reveals that the device may ship with a 33W fast charger.
At present, there is no other information available on the specifications of the Razr 40. Earlier this month, MySmartPrice published leaked press renders of the device. The images show that it will feature a foldable OLED screen with a centered punch hole on the inside. On the outside, it was seen sporting a small cover display alongside the horizontally arranged dual-camera system.
The device was found to be equipped with a side-facing fingerprint scanner. The image also revealed that it will be available in at least three shades, such as olive green, purple, and cream.
