Motorola teases new tablet for India with “it’s not mid, it’s a pro” tagline; likely to launch as Moto Pad 60 Pro, a rebranded Lenovo Idea Tab Pro
Just a day ago, Motorola teased its entry into the Indian laptop market via a teaser on Flipkart. Now, the brand has also hinted at the launch of a new tablet for the Indian market. A fresh teaser image is live on Flipkart, although the microsite isn’t available yet. The teaser carries the tagline: “It’s not mid, it’s a Pro.” Apart from this, it doesn’t reveal any details about the tablet’s specifications or its moniker.
However, we have exclusively spotted a Motorola tablet on India’s BIS certification website with the model number XT2571-1. While the BIS listing doesn’t mention the name, further digging led us to the Lenovo’s support website, which identifies the device as the Moto Pad 60 Pro (XT2571-1). The support page also confirms that it is a rebranded version of the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro, which was recently launched in the Indian market.
Connecting this with the teaser’s tagline, “It’s not mid, it’s a Pro,” it seems likely that the upcoming device is indeed the Moto Pad 60 Pro. With the teaser already live, we expect Motorola to reveal more details about this upcoming tablet very soon.
