Carl Pei’s Nothing Phone 1 was a huge success and the credit goes to its features and distinctive design element. Reports and rumours have been hovering around Nothing Phone 2 for a year and finally, after such a long wait, the brand confirmed that it would launch the Nothing Phone 2 in the global market and in India this summer. Ahead of its official launch, Nothing Phone 2, 5K renders have been leaked by Onleaks named tipster in collaboration with Smartprix. The renders of this phone reveal some significant changes in comparison to Nothing Phone 1.
Renders have been created based on live pictures of the testing stage unit. The real design of the smartphone might differ slightly from the renders as the renders represent devices at specific stages of development.

Changes made so far
Nothing phone retains its iconic design of the back and has introduced some changes in the phone. These changes aim to improve the performance and overall design of the smartphone which has already given cutthroat competition earlier with the Nothing Phone 1.
Lighting Design
If you will see the renders you will find a change in the lighting elements. Lighting elements around the camera module and charging coil have been redesigned to give it a new look with minimal changes.
Lights around the wireless charging coil have also been redesigned from single long strips to small strips of light. These small light elements will allow users to control each strip independently and eventually customise it for notification.
Curved back
Renders reveal that the smartphone’s back has a suitable curve similar to 2.5 D. This curve will be an add-on to the comfort of handling this phone.
Curved display
There is a slight curvature in the display which improves the viewing experience of users. When most smartphones are arriving with a curved display, Nothing can’t be missed.
Dual LED flash
You will find a change in the LED flash of the phone which has been upgraded to dual LED configuration. This change will allow users to take awesome photos in a dimly lit environment.
Sustainable step
We reported earlier that Nothing Phone 2 will come with plastic-free packaging. The company will be using 100% recycled material with 100% renewable for manufacturing. The company has also joined the Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) which is considered a critical step towards continuing aluminium sourcing for its products.
