Nothing Phone 2a Blue variant launched in India, sales to start from 2nd May
Nothing unveiled its new mid-range smartphone, the Nothing Phone 2a, in India last month. Just a month later, the company announced a new variant of the Nothing Phone (2a). However, details about this new variant’s capabilities and features were not initially known. Today, it has been unveiled for the Indian market.
Upon reviewing the specs, there don’t seem to be any differences and it appears to be just a new color variant. According to the promo on Flipkart, sales for the Nothing Phone (2a) in blue will commence on May 2nd, with a starting price of ₹19,999 (With Offers) for the base variant 8GB/128 GB. However, this is an introductory price, available only for the first-day sale. Currently, it is not known what offers will be there for the other variants.
Upon checking further, it is listed with the pricing of Rs.25,999 for 8GB/128GB, Rs.27,999 for 8GB/256GB, and Rs.29,999 for 12GB/256GB. Rest assured, this is not the final price tag. Instead, after the initial offer, the blue variant will settle at the same price point as its counterparts.
Overall, it seems that the new variant offers a fresh color option without any significant changes in features or specifications. But for some reason, it looks more black to me rather than blue.
