Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition launched with Green Colour Back that shines in the dark

Now we have the Community Edition of the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus smartphone. There’s little difference between this edition and the regular Nothing Phone (2a) Plus, which was launched earlier this year. However, as a Community Edition, this version has been designed with input from community members.

It includes six exclusive wallpapers created specifically for the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition. These wallpapers interpret community connections through visual themes of machine connectors, revealing a world of cables, pipes, microchips, and components. The packaging has also been redesigned, offering a glimpse into the essence of the Nothing brand.

A total of 1000 units will be available worldwide for purchase and nothing has also shared the timeline along with the pricing itself.

Pricing and Availability

In Europe and Japan, customers must register for invitation links starting November 12th, with priority access given to Community Edition Project participants. The Middle East launch will be managed through @nothingarabia on Instagram, while Indian customers can register on Flipkart for sales beginning November 12th. Southeast Asian markets will receive 25 units per country starting November 16th, distributed through selected partners including Crossover in Malaysia, Limited Edt in Singapore, Carnival in Thailand, and Nothing’s official Shopee store in the Philippines.

The device will be priced at £399/€429-449 in Europe, ₹29,999 in India, and ¥55,800 in Japan, where it will be based on the Phone (2a) model to maintain FeliCa support. The phone features 12GB RAM and 256GB storage across all variants. Notable exclusions include the US, Canada, Mexico, Taiwan, and Korea, where the Community Edition won’t be available.

Special launch events have been planned across multiple locations. The Nothing Store in Soho, London will offer 50 units on November 16th, while Delhi will host a similar drop of 50 units on November 23rd. Community celebration events are scheduled at the Sveta Art Gallery in Frankfurt (November 2nd) and Fame Gallery in Zurich (November 9th), though these events won’t include device sales. All physical store purchases won’t require invitation codes, and purchases are limited to one device per customer.
