Nothing Phone (2a) Plus officially confirmed to be powered by Dimensity 7350 Pro SOC
Nothing has already announced that it will be launching the Plus variant of the Nothing Phone (2a) in India and globally on July 31st. However, it didn’t specify whether it would come with a brand-new SoC or an improved version of the chip already present in the Phone (2a). Fortunately, this confusion has now been cleared up, thanks to Nothing, which took to platform X and shared which SoC will be powering the Plus variant of this smartphone.
Nothing Phone (2a) Plus
So, just as I predicted, the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus will be launched with a new SoC. This is the MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro, and just like the base variant which came with the Dimensity 7200 Pro (an overclocked version of the Dimensity 7200), this Plus variant is getting an overclocked version of the Dimensity 7350 SoC. According to Nothing, the chipset has a total of 8 cores clocked at up to 3.0 GHz, and the company claims it to be 10% faster than the Nothing Phone (2a). Additionally, it will have a Mali-G610 MC4 GPU running at 1.3 GHz, which on paper is 30% faster in complex graphics and number crunching. Nothing also claims that this chipset is exclusive to the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus, so we probably won’t see it in other smartphones.

But that needs to be tested for sure, and hopefully, after it is launched, a clearer picture will emerge. Nothing is promoting this Plus variant as a gaming machine.
Additionally, it has been revealed that the device will come with 12GB of RAM, along with an 8GB RAM boost. As the launch date nears, we may hear more details about it.
