Nothing Phone 2a spotted on TUV certification website; charging details revealed
After the successful launch of Nothing Phone (2), Nothing is said to soon unveil a new smartphone- Phone 2a. If reports are to be believed Nothing Phone 2a could make its debut at the Mobile World Congress 2024. Recently Nothing CEO Carl Pei also teased the arrival of a “New Phone”.
Ahead of its upcoming launch, Nothing Phone 2a has been spotted on the TUV website with model number A142.
The listing revealed that the smartphone will be supporting 45W wired charging which is the same as the previously launched Nothing Phone (2).
Nothing Phone 2a: Specifications (expected)
It could come with a 6.7 inch wide 120Hz AMOLED display with 1084×2412 pixels resolution. The device might pack up a 50MP Samsung S5KGN9 shooter with a 1/1.5″ sensor size and 1.0-micron pixel size. It can be accompanied by a 50MP Samsung S5KJN1 ultrawide camera with 1/2.76″ sensor size and 0.64-micron pixel size. The front side of the smartphone is revealed to come with a 32 MP Sony IMX615 front camera housed in a punch-hole cutout.
As per tipster @Sudhanshu1414, this upcoming device will be a budget phone that is expected to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset. The device was tipped to arrive with two storage variants- 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB.
