Nothing Phone (3a) series confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon chipset

Nothing Phone (3a) series will be making its official debut on 4th March in both global and Indian markets. The microsite for the upcoming series has already been made live on Flipkart and Nothing website. It is said that the Phone (3a) series will include Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro smartphones.

Ahead of the official launch of this series, the company has officially revealed that the upcoming series will be powered by a Snapdragon chipset.

The word ‘series’ suggests that both smartphones will be powered by a Snapdragon SoC. The chipset logo teased by the brand hints towards Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC. The predecessor of this upcoming series, Nothing Phone (2a) series was powered by Dimensity chipsets and the brand used Qualcomm chipset for its flagship devices but now the Phone (3a) series will also be arriving with a Qualcomm chipset.

As per CEO Carl Pei, the upcoming offering will have a 25% faster CPU and a 72% faster NPU compared to Phone (2a) Plus.

Phone (3a) is expected to come in 12GB/256GB storage options and Black and Grey color choices while Phone (3a) could come with 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB storage options, and be made available in Black and White color choices. Both devices have already been spotted on TDRA and BIS certification websites.
