Nothing Phone (3a) Series Macro Shots Officially Shared; Teaser Videos Revealing Key Specs Leaked; Spotted on the TUV SUD Database

The UK-based smartphone maker, Nothing, will be officially unveiling its Phone (3a) series smartphone models early next month and two devices are soon going to hit the market under the series. The brand, as the official launch date nears, has again teased the upcoming series, revealing few images pointing out the macro capability of the Phone (3a) series.

In related news, the teaser videos of the two devices have also been leaked online, revealing their key specs. Also, they have been certified by the TUV SUD certification authority, which revealed few of their charging specs.

As per the revealed macro shots, the upcoming Nothing Phone (3a) series is revealed to offer better macro capabilities to its users. The shots captured portray great detailing with good clarity, along with true to life colors.

Coming to the leaked teaser videos, both the devices are revealed to feature a new and advanced camera system at the rear, housing three camera sensors. The standard Phone (3a) looks more or less similar when compared with its predecessor in terms of the camera module, however the Phone (3a) Pro has an entirely new projected camera layout. The Phone (3a) is pointed out to sport a 50MP (shake-free OIS main camera) + 8MP (ultra-wide Sony camera) + 50MP (telephoto camera) camera unit, whereas the Phone (3a) Pro has a 50MP (shake-free OIS main camera) + 8MP (ultra-wide Sony camera) + 50MP (OIS periscope telephoto Sony camera) camera system. The telephoto lens of the Phone (3a) offers 2x optical zoom, 4x lossless zoom, 30x ultra zoom, and a portrait mode, on the other hand, the Sony periscope telephoto camera lens of the Phone (3a) Pro supports 3x optical zoom, 6x lossless zoom, 60x ultra zoom, and a macro mode.

Speaking more, the Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro models will also be sharing a few similar specs such as the True Lens Engine 3.0, advanced computational technology, AI processor, and multi-frame technology. An action button has also been given on the two devices, which can be used to launch the Essential Space. The Essential Space will allow users to organize content and generate action points.

On the performance side, the upcoming devices will also be having the brand’s latest Nothing OS 3 custom skin based on the Android 15 operating system out of the box. They will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, and will be offered with up to 20GB RAM Booster and +25% faster processing.

Nothing’s Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro devices are also suggested to feature the biggest display screen from the brand yet. It will be a 6.77″ AMOLED display with 3000 nits peak brightness, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1000Hz touch sampling rate. The Glyph Interface with three light strips is also a notable key spec of the two.

Also, the Nothing Phone (3a) is revealed to come in Black, Blue, and White color options, while users will get the Phone (3a) Pro model of Nothing in Black and Grey colors.

Regarding the TUV SUD certification, the Phone (3a) – ‘A059’ and Phone (3a) Pro – ‘A059P’ models have received the certification with the certificate number of ‘SG PSB-IV-13479’. They will be supporting up to 50W wired fast charging, and will feature class III protection.
