Nothing teases Bulbasaur Pokemon on X: Could be a hint towards CMF Phone (2)

At the beginning of this month, Nothing officially unveiled the Nothing Phone (3a) series globally as well as in Indian markets. The company teased the launch of this series with an Arcanine Pokémon in January 2025. Similarly, Nothing India has once again shared an image of a Pokémon on the X platform today.

This is a Bulbasaur Pokémon, and the company has shared the image with the caption Coming Soon. Though the brand has not revealed the moniker of the device that will be launching in India but it is assumed that it could be CMF Phone (2). This is because Bulbasaur comes with code 0001, and CMF Phone (2) was spotted on the IMEI database with model number A001, this gives rise to speculations that the upcoming device could be CMF Phone (2).

Also, Nothing’s sub-brand CMF has shared the same teaser on the X platform, which somehow confirms the assumptions.

CMF Phone (2) made its appearance on the BIS database last month, while recently the concept design and possible specs of this device were also shared online. The concept design reveals that the device retains the interchangeable panels and added accessories for the CMF Phone 2, just like its predecessor.

Coming to the possible key specs, MediaTek’s Dimensity 7350 5G chip, 20GB RAM (12GB inbuilt + 8GB virtual), 256GB storage (2TB expandable storage support), Android 15 based Nothing OS 3.5, 6.7″ Super AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and 2000 nits peak brightness, 50MP + 50MP dual camera unit (primary + ultra-wide), 32MP selfie camera, 5000 mAh battery backup (up to 30 hours video playback), and 45W wired + 5W reverse wired charging features are being expected.
