ZTE’s Nubia, a known Chinese smartphone maker, will be unveiling the Nubia Z50S Pro smartphone in its home market in China on the coming 20th of July, 2023. Ahead of its launch, the key specifications of the upcoming smartphone have been revealed.

Nubia Z50S Pro to Launch on July 20
Nubia’s upcoming smartphone device, the Nubia Z50S Pro will be arriving equipped with the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and will have a primary clock speed of 3.36GHz. The device will come pre-installed with the Android 13 operating system and will be coupled with an LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 internal storage.
For its display, the upcoming smartphone is to feature an OLED display panel with a screen size of 6.78″ and will have a 1.5K screen resolution. It will also have a 144Hz refresh rate, 1200 nits peak brightness rate, 452 PPI pixel density, and a PWM dimming of 2160Hz. The display is also UL Platinum Low Blue Light Gum Care Certified and supports the DCI-P3 color gamut.

Coming to its rear, the device has a triple camera setup with (three) LED flashlights which are housed within the circular camera module. The main camera is 50MP and features a 35mm high-definition optical sensor. For selfies, we can see that the device has a centrally aligned punch-hole selfie camera however its exact megapixel is unknown.
The soon-to-be-launched device is also going to pack a 5100 mAh large battery and will have a fast charge support of upto 80W. The 9 sensors that are given on the device will also monitor the temperature of the smartphone and will adjust the cooling strategy accordingly to maintain the optimal temperature. Other features include an X-axis linear motor for haptics, a dual speaker setup, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Two color choices of the smartphone will be made available – Black and Orange and speaking of its design, the rear panel is dual-toned and resembles a camera itself.
Nubia’s Z50S Pro smartphone will be having its launch on the 20th of July, 2023 in China at 14:00 local time. With its launch, the storage variants and their respective price points will be revealed.
