After much anticipation, OnePlus has finally launched the OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12R, and Buds 3 series in India. Let’s get to know about each of them in detail.
OnePlus 12 smartphone specifications
The OnePlus 12 smartphone features a 6.82 inch wide 2K AMOLED display with 4500 nits of peak brightness and supports wet hand control. It has a self-developed Display P1 chip that makes sure to deliver the brightest and purest images with lower power consumption.
The handset is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. For gaming at 120 fps, it has got Pixelworks X7 Independent Visual processor with the company’s IRX gaming experience.
Intense gaming needs simultaneous cooling for which this smartphone comes with a Cryo-velocity cooling system with 9140 mm² VC heat dissipation area. The smartphone runs OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14 out of the box. It is promised to receive 4 years of Android updates and 5 years of security updates.
The OnePlus characteristic alert slider is also there though now it has been repositioned to the left-hand side of the phone allowing OnePlus to introduce a new integrated antenna and Alert Slider solutions.
In the camera section, the smartphone sports a 50 MP Sony LYT-808 sensor, 64MP OV64B periscope telephoto lens with support for 3x optical zoom, 6x in-sensor zoom, and up to 120x digital zoom, 48 MP ultra-wide camera. The phone’s camera comes with Hasselblad branding. The front side of the smartphone sports a 32 MP selfie camera with IMX615 sensor and f/2.4 aperture.
It is backed by a 5400 mAh battery with support for 100W SuperVOOC fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging and also supports wireless reverse charging.
Pricing and availability
The OnePlus 12 smartphone has been launched in Flowy Emerald and Silky Black colour at the price of Rs 64,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant while the 16GB + 512GB variant is priced at Rs 69,999.
As far as availability is concerned it will be sold on Amazon, OnePlus online store, and offline stores starting from 30th January.

The OnePlus 12R smartphone features a 6.78 inch wide 1.5K AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. The display remains protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and supports wet hand control.
It is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 4.0 storage. For heat dissipation, it has a 9140mm² Dual Cryo velocity VC cooling system.
In the camera section, the smartphone sports a 50 MP camera with a Sony IMX890 sensor, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro camera. The front side of the smartphone sports a 16MP selfie camera. It runs Android 14 based OxygenOS 14.
It is promised to receive 4 years of Android updates and 5 years of security updates. It also features a three-stage alert slider repositioned to the left side of the handset. It is backed by a 5500 mAh battery that supports 100W SuperVOOC fast charging. Additionally, it is equipped with a SUPERVOOC S power management chip and proprietary Battery Health Engine technology.
Price and availability
The OnePlus 12R smartphone comes in Cool Blue and Iron Gray colour options. It has been priced at Rs 39,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model while its 16GB + 256GB model is priced at Rs 45,999.
It will be available for buyers from February 6th on Amazon, OnePlus online stores, and offline stores.
