The smartphone brand OnePlus officially unveiled its OnePlus 12R smartphone in the Indian market at the beginning of this year. This smartphone is the rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 3 that launched in China in January 2024 and came with three colour options Sand Gold, Moon Sea Blue, and Star Black. Out of the three, OnePlus 12R arrived in two color options- Cool Blue and Iron Grey.
Well, very soon the device will be made available in a new color option in the Indian market. According to the company’s official announcement on the X platform, the OnePlus 12R will soon be arriving in the Sunset Dune color option in India.

The launch date is not revealed yet but the brand might soon reveal it. While this new color option is expected to feature the same specs as that of the previous variants.
OnePlus 12R: Specifications
The OnePlus 12R smartphone features a 6.78-inch wide 1.5K AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. The display remains protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and supports wet hand control. It is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB UFS 4.0 storage. For heat dissipation, it has a 9140mm² Dual Cryo velocity VC cooling system.
In the camera section, the smartphone sports a 50 MP camera with a Sony IMX890 sensor, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP macro camera. The front side of the smartphone sports a 16MP selfie camera. It runs Android 14-based OxygenOS 14. It also features a three-stage alert slider repositioned to the left side of the handset. It is backed by a 5500 mAh battery that supports 100W SuperVOOC fast charging. Additionally, it is equipped with a SUPERVOOC S power management chip and proprietary Battery Health Engine technology.
