OnePlus 12R to support 100W charging, hints CQC certification
OnePlus is expected to unveil the OnePlus 12 series of smartphones on Jan. 23 for the global market. The lineup is anticipated to include two devices, namely the OnePlus 12 and 12R. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered OnePlus 12 is reportedly assigned the CPH2581 and PJD110 model numbers for the global and Chinese variants, respectively. On the other hand, the OnePlus 12R is said to bear the CPH2609 and PJE1110 model numbers for the global and Chinese editions. In a recent development, the 12R has been identified in the database of the CQC certification platform, divulging its fast charging capabilities.

The OnePlus 12R bearing the CPH2609 was recently spotted in the database of Singapore’s IMDA certification platform. The same device has now received CQC certification, revealing that it may support 100W fast charging.
It is speculated that model numbers CPH2585 and CPH2611 are also associated with the global version of the OnePlus 12R. The Chinese variant with the PJE110 model number is said to arrive with the OnePlus Ace 3 moniker. While the OnePlus 12 is confirmed to launch on Dec. 5 in China, it is speculated that the Ace 3 may go official by the end of this month or at some point in January in China.
As per reports, the OnePlus 12R will have a 6.7-inch OLED display that offers a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3,000 nits of brightness. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip will power the device with up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. It is likely to house a 5,500mAh battery and run on OxygenOS 14-based Android 14. It will have a 16-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 32-megapixel (telephoto, 2x optical zoom) triple camera unit.
