In Q4 2023, several brands, including iQOO and OnePlus, unveiled Snapdragon 8 Gen 3-powered flagship phones. Recent reports have claimed that both brands are gearing up to launch new phones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. While iQOO is said to be working on the iQOO Neo 9s Pro, OnePlus could be planning on the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro. A new leak, courtesy of Chinese tipster Smart Pikachu, has revealed what to expect from the next Ace-series phone.
A recent leak claimed that it will have a 6.78-inch 8T BOE LTPO curved-edge panel that offers 2780 x 1264 pixels (1.5K resolution) and a 120Hz refresh rate. The back panel of the Ace 3 Pro is expected to sport a new design for the triple camera unit. It will feature a 50-megapixel primary camera by Sony.
In the new leak, tipster Smart Pikachu has reiterated the same details. In addition, he claimed that the topmost configuration of the device will offer 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. The device’s build is said to feature a glass back and a metal middle frame.
Previous reports have revealed that a 5,800mAh battery will power the Ace 3 Pro and support 100W fast charging. It is expected to come preinstalled with the ColorOS 14-based Android 14. At present, there is no clarity about the launch timeframe of the device. It is likely that it will debut in China in either June or July.
