The rumor mill recently has been buzzing with updates related to OnePlus Ace 5 and OnePlus Ace 5 Pro smartphones and it was said that these devices will launch this year in the Chinese market but the brand did not make any official announcement.
Today OnePlus has officially confirmed that the OnePlus Ace 5 series will be launching next month in China. The series will include two models- the OnePlus Ace 5 and the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro.
In the above teaser image, the text below reads Snapdragon dual flagship lineup debuts. Two Snapdragon chipsets are seen among which Snapdragon 8 Elite can be clearly seen. It is expected that the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro could be powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite. The second processor could be Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for OnePlus Ace 5.
In the coming weeks, OnePlus is expected to announce the launch date of this upcoming smartphone series and also to start teasing the features of this series.
Reportedly OnePlus Ace 5 is expected to debut in global markets as the OnePlus 13R. Expected specs include a 6.78″ OLED flat display with 1.5K resolution, 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera setup, 16MP selfie camera, 6xxxx mAh (maybe 6300± mAh) battery, and 100W wired fast charge support.
OnePlus Ace 5 Pro would likely be featuring the 50MP Sony IMX906 primary and 50MP ISOCELL JN1 telephoto camera sensors. It is expected to use the BOE X2 flat display panel with a 1.5K screen resolution. The device may come with a battery capacity of 6xxx, (could be 6300 ~ 6500 mAh).
