OnePlus Fold tipped to arrive with an extremely thin and light design along with a periscope camera

At MWC 2023, OnePlus announced that the brand will be launching its first-ever foldable smartphone in the second half of 2023. As claimed by the COO of OnePlus, this foldable smartphone will have the signature OnePlus fast and smooth experience. Since the official announcement of this upcoming foldable smartphone has been made rumors and speculations regarding this upcoming foldable smartphone have been making rounds on the Internet.

Also, there have been a few reports which reveal the expected specifications of the OnePlus Fold. Recently tipster @ShishirShelkel revealed that OPPO is currently working on a new development which is expected to be a large screen foldable with an extremely thin and light design along with a telephoto sensor on its rear end. According to the tipster same features could be seen on OnePlus foldable as well .

As mentioned in the above tweet, the smartphone will sport an LTPO AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Along with that the foldable device might house a 4800mAh battery and could pack up a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP (IMX890) primary camera, ultra-wide camera, and periscope telephoto camera. Apart from this, the device could feature 32MP (OV32C) front camera.

The device could use a combination of MariSilicon X and Hasselblad for optical structure. MariSilicon X is an imaging Neural Processing unit that is considered the most advanced imaging engine that preserves up to 4K resolution video with HDR AI night video, live previews, RAM domain processing, and enhances RGBW Pro mode.

The tipster also posted a concept render image that showcases the camera design, power button with an alert slider, and volume rockers.
