OnePlus Officially Announces its Fengchi Game Core; Ace 5 Pro Performance Test Details Revealed

OnePlus, the leading Chinese smartphone and other consumer electronics maker, at the recently conducted gaming conference, announced its Fengchi Game Core for its Ace 5 series sub-flagships. Along with this, the Ace 5 Pro performance test details have also been shared online.

Read more about it below.

OnePlus’ Chip-Level Gaming Technology – Fengchi Game Core

As mentioned earlier, OnePlus’ latest Fengchi Game Core chip-level gaming technology is the first of its kind in the industry, and notably brings three major features to improve battery efficiency, reduces the game running load, optimizes the performance release logic, and accurately controls the device frame by frame.

Speaking more, the Fengchi Game Core is comparable to chip iteration, and the CPU game performance has been released at its highest potential. This breaks the limitations of the Android kernel. Longer gaming with no lags and no heating are also being assured. Also, to deliver the industry’s first native-level 120-frame playback, the GPU rendering pipeline has also been reconstructed. Native 120 FPS game play is thus achieved, and the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro will offer 120 FPS + 1080p gaming. Super frame and super picture quality with no delay is the main highlight.

Also to add, at the bottom of the Fengchi Game Core poster image, the brand has suggested that the world premiere of Fengchi Game Core will be taking place next year, pointing to the launch of the Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro smartphones.

OnePlus Ace 5 Pro – Performance Test Details

Now coming to the performance test details of the upcoming Ace 5 Pro device, the King of Glory 10V10 medium to high-load game with extremely high image quality averaged 120.6 FPS/3.71 W (better when compared to most Snapdragon 8 Elite devices) and the Star Iron: Golden Moment ultra-high load game averaged 59.1 FPS/5.44 W (0.43 W lower). The Genshin Impact: Xumi high-load game, which OnePlus is optimized better with, averaged 60.5 FPS/3.92 W in an hour. Moreover, in the super-resolution high-resolution + super-frame test, the device averaged 120.7 FPS/4.89 W with stable game-play throughout the testing process with lower delay.

From what it seems, OnePlus has used the Fengchi Game Core on the Ace 5 series devices mainly to improve the game running efficiency by lowering power consumption frame by frame while providing full frame rate, thus guaranteeing lasting gaming experience.
