OnePlus Open Apex Edition Amazon Availability Officially Confirmed; Will Be Available From 10th August
OnePlus has recently announced to launch OnePlus Open Apex Edition in India on 7th August 2024. This special edition will arrive in a new Crimson Shadow color option and with a premium vegan leather finish. The microsite for this upcoming edition is already live on OnePlus India’s website.
The company will be revealing the India pricing and storage option on 7th August. Other than OnePlus India’s website, OnePlus Open Apex Edition will also be made available via Amazon’s official website.
According to Amazon, this smartphone will be made available in India from 10th August 2024 which is three days after the price reveal. OnePlus Open Apex Edition could be launched with a new storage option though we do need to wait for the official confirmation.
For now, lets take a look at the specs of the OnePlus Open that is already available in the market
The handset comes with a 7.82-inch wide 2K AMOLED main display that sports a 120 Hz refresh rate and 2,800 nits of peak brightness. The display is protected by Ultra-Thin Glass for protection. Its cover display is a 6.31-inch wide 2K AMOLED display that sports a 120 Hz refresh rate and Ceramic Guard on top. The OnePlus Open is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor paired with Adreno 740 GPU. It packs 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512 GB UFS 4.0 storage.
The camera section includes a 48 MP Sony LYT-T808 primary camera with a 64 MP OmniVision OV64B telephoto camera and a 48 MP Sony IMX581 ultra-wide angle lens. You also get to see a 20 MP primary front camera and a 32 MP secondary front camera. It runs OxygenOS 13.2 based on Android 13 out of the box.
The OnePlus Open is backed by a 4,805 mAh battery that supports 67W SUPERVOOC charging. Additionally, you also get to see an alert slider, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and Dolby Atmos-tuned speakers.
