OnePlus Open leak reveals 48MP LYT808 main camera, foldable screen details, 100W charger, and more
OnePlus has recently confirmed that it will announce the OnePlus Open, its first foldable smartphone, on October 19. So far, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed a lot of information about the Find N3, which is a rebranded version of the Open for select markets like China. According to DCS, the inner foldable screen of the OnePlus Open will feature a 2K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 1440Hz PWM dimming, and a peak brightness of 2800 nits. He added that the device measures 11.7mm when folded and 5.8mm in the unfolded state and weighs 239 grams. He revealed that there is no IP rating for the device. A previous leak claimed that the device would come in two shades: Voyage Black and Emerald Eclipse.
Talking about the rear camera setup, the tipster said that the OnePlus Open has a Sony LYT808 48-megapixel primary camera and a 64-megapixel OV64B periscope telephoto camera that offers 3x optical zoom and 6x lossless zoom. While he did not mention it in the leak, the device is said to be equipped with a 48-megapixel ultrawide sensor.
As per the leak, the OnePlus Open will support 67W wired charging, but it will ship with a 100W charger. The device will lack support for wireless charging. He further said that the Open will run on OxygenOS 13, which will be based on Android 13.
