OPPO A18 NBTC certified, likely to launch soon
OPPO has recently launched the OPPO A58 and OPPO A78 smartphones in different markets. Now, the brand is said to be working on newer A-series phones, such as the OPPO A38 and A18. The A38 has already been spotted at certification sites, such as Malaysia’s SIRIM, Thailand’s NBTC, the FCC, India’s BIS, Indonesia’s TKDN, Singapore’s IMDA, the UAE’s TDRA, and Bluetooth SIG. On the other hand, the A18 has also surfaced in the databases of the IMDA, FCC, BIS, TKDN, TDRA, and Bluetooth SIG. Now, the A18 has also been certified by the NBTC.
As usual, the NBTC certification has not revealed any information about the specifications of the OPPO A18. It reiterates that the OPPO phone with model number CPH2591 will be called the OPPO A18 when it arrives in the market.
Unfortunately, none of the other certification listings have revealed concrete information on the OPPO A18’s specifications. It is only known that it will be a 4G LTE device. The A18 moniker indicates that it will arrive as a successor to last year’s OPPO A17. Here is a look at the key specs of the A17.
The OPPO A17 has a 6.56-inch IPS LCD panel that offers HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device features the Helio G35 chipset, 4 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of internal storage. It houses a 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging and runs on ColorOS 12.1-based Android 12.
The A17 has a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. On the back, it has a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an LED flash. For security, it has a side-fitted fingerprint reader.
