OPPO A38 Appears on Malaysia’s SIRIM Certification Website: Might Launch Soon
The upcoming OPPO A series smartphone, the OPPO A38 has now made its appearance on the SIRIM certification website of Malaysia. The device has received multiple certifications by now and this might be pointing to its launch that is likely to take place soon.

OPPO A38 SIRIM Certification
OPPO’s A38 smartphone has made its appearance on Malaysia’s SIRIM certification website with the model number, CPH2579 and has been certified with the type approval code of RGQL/45F/0823/S(23-3588). The device has been listed as a mobile phone and its certification will be valid till the 14th of August 2025.
A few days back, the smartphone was also certified by the TDRA certification authority and before which, it received the IMDA and FCC certifications. To note, it was with its IMDA certification that the moniker of the smartphone was revealed. The device has also been certified by the BIS certification authority of India, confirming its Indian launch. The device is also said to have received the TKDN and EEC certifications and has appeared on the IMEI database.
A few of its specifications are also known to us with the certifications the device has received. The OPPO A38 smartphone will be 4G device with 2G, 3G and 4G network connectivity. It will also have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity support as well. The device will have the brand’s own ColorOS 13.1 custom UI and for its battery, is confirmed to pack a 4880 mAh rated battery, which is likely to be marketed as a 5000 mAh battery.
Along with the OPPO A38, another A series smartphone is also in works. The OPPO A18 that will also be making its way to the Indian market might also have its launch soon along with the OPPO A38 smartphone and with the launch of the two devices, we’ll be able to confirm more about the smartphones and their specifications.
