OPPO A5 Pro Smartphone China Launch Date Officially Announced: ‘Durable God of War’
Followed by its MIIT and TENAA listings, OPPO, the Chinese smartphone maker, has officially announced the launch date for the A5 Pro device in its home market. The latest smartphone device will be unveiled next week and better durability will be its key feature.

OPPO A5 Pro – Launching on 24th December in China
The OPPO A5 Pro smartphone has been confirmed to debut in the Chinese market next week on the 24th of December 2024 at 2:30 PM local time. The brand has also pointed out that more people prefer durability and the upcoming A5 Pro smartphone model has been teased as the ‘Durable God of War’.
Apart from the above mentioned details, nothing more regarding the smartphone has been shared officially by the brand. However, since the launch date has been announced, teaser updates can be expected in the coming days. Also, via its MIIT and TENAA listings, few key specs as well as the device’s design renders have already been revealed.

A 2.5GHz octa-core processor (expected to be MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300 chip), 8GB/12GB RAM, 256GB/512GB storage, 6.7″ AMOLED FHD+ (2412 x 1080 pixels) 120Hz display, 50MP + 2MP dual rear camera unit, 16MP selfie camera, 5840 mAh rated battery backup (~6000 mAh typical battery), 5G network connectivity, in-display fingerprint reader, 7.67 mm thickness, and 186 gm weight are the revealed or expected specifications of the OPPO A5 Pro smartphone. The design specs include curved-edge display, projected circular camera module, and purple color choice.
Also to add, the global models (4G and 5G variants) of the OPPO A5 Pro device have been spotted on various global certification platforms too, confirming their arrival to the global market.
