Rest of the story continues.

Oppo has just announced its new A-series smartphones, the A1s and A1i, in its home country, China. It looks like we may soon see a new A-series smartphone entering the global market. This is none other than the Oppo A60, which was recently spotted on SIRIM, TDRATKDN, TUV Rheinland, EECNBTC, SDPPI, and FV5. A new listing on the Google Play console now reveals the key specs, including the processor that will power this smartphone.

As per the listing, the Oppo A60(CPH2631) will be powered by the Snapdragon 680 SOC (QTI SM6225), paired with the Adreno 610 (1115 MHz). It also shows the RAM option of 8GB and will boot from Android 14 out of the box. Again, it is currently unknown which version of ColorOS 14 will feature. So far, there is no news regarding whether there will be a 5G variant of this smartphone or not. Coming back to its Console listing, the CPU has 4x ARM Cortex-A73 (2400 MHz) and 4x ARM Cortex-A53 (1900 MHz).

It will feature a screen resolution of 720×1604, hinting at a screen size of 6.7″, which we recently saw in the Realme C65. The listing also shows a screen density of 320 (xhdpi).

Moving to its design revealed via the Google Play Console, we can see thinner bezels on three sides and a slightly thicker chin. It will feature a punch-hole design with volume rockers placed on the right side.

From the past certifications, it is expected to come equipped with a 50 MP f/1.9 aperture rear camera with EIS support. In the battery section, we may see a typical 5,000 mAh battery with a 45W fast charging feature.

Since it has been listed on several certifications and now the Google Play Console, a launch is probably near. However, Oppo hasn’t shared any details regarding this upcoming smartphone, but it is expected to.
