OPPO A98 5G Appears on Malaysia’s SIRIM Certification: Here’s More About it
The upcoming OPPO A98 5G smartphone has now been spotted on the SIRIM certification website. Previously the smartphone had also appeared on many other certification platforms, indicating at its imminent launch.

The soon-releasing mid-range smartphone of OPPO’s A series, the OPPO A98 5G has appeared on Malaysia’s SIRIM certification website with a model number of CPH2529. The smartphone has also appeared on several other certifications including the TDRA certification which could only mean that the smartphone is soon going to have its launch.
Nothing much is revealed about the smartphone from its listing on the SIRIM certification website, but from its listing on the CQC certification it has been revealed that the smartphone will support a 67W fast charge feature.
With its appearance on HTML5 and the NBTC platforms, it is also revealed that the smartphone will run on the Android 13 operating system and since it is an OPPO smartphone, the smartphone might also be having the ColorOS 13 custom user interface pre-installed in it.
We are also now aware of some of its key specifications from its TENAA listing. The upcoming smartphone is expected to feature a 6.7″AMOLED display with a full HD+ resolution and a high refresh rate as well. It will also have an in-display fingerprint sensor as well.
The smartphone is also expected to be powered by an octa-core processor which will have a primary clock speed of 2.2GHz. However, it is still unclear about the chipset the smartphone will be equipped with. Speaking of its storage, the device will have a RAM of 12GB and internal storage of 512GB.
From other listings, it has also been revealed that the smartphone has a battery pack of 4690 mAh. The smartphone on its rear is also going to have a 108MP primary camera along with a 2MP depth camera. On the front, it will likely have a 16MP selfie camera.
