OPPO Find X7 Pro to sport circular camera module, claims reliable tipster
Recent reports have been gradually divulging details about the Find X7 series of smartphones, which are slated for launch in China by early January. Recently, an engineering prototype unit of the purported Find X7 Pro was spotted being used in a subway. A subsequent leak revealed the front and rear designs of the aforementioned unit. Both leaks indicated that the Find X7 Pro will sport an octagonal camera module on its rear panel. However, a new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, paints a different picture.
According to DCS, the recently seen OPPO smartphone with an octagonal camera module is the engineering unit of the Find X7 Pro. It was seen sporting a quad-camera system with a dual-periscope lens system, which is completely in sync with the recent leaks surrounding the smartphone.
However, the tipster believes that the actual rear design of the Find X7 Pro will be different from what has been revealed in the recent leaks. He added that the rear shell looks more like a cover that protects the real look of the device. He is of the view that the X7 Pro will have a circular camera module. Hence, it is likely to be similar to the Find X6 series that debuted earlier this year.
The tipster claimed that the Find X7 series is tentatively planned to launch in January in China. It can be said based on leaks that it will be the first smartphone to feature the one-inch LYT-900 50-megapixel primary camera. It will be joined by a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel IMX890 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel IMX858 periscope telephoto snapper with 6x optical zoom.
