Oppo Find X7 series product technical communication meeting held in China, bringing key insight of its satellite technology

Ahead of the Oppo Find X7 series official launch company confirmed that it would hold a Product technical communication meeting in China. And as promised, a meeting took place in China this afternoon where the company officially announced its satellite communication technology.

Oppo announced that the Find X7 series supports antenna pattern control technology, thus bringing handset/hands-free dual mode satellite call functions to smartphones.

A Chinese media outlet ithome reported that Oppo said that it has evolved the satellite call experience from “satellite intercom mode” to “satellite phone mode”. This evolution is said to support clear sound during calls even in a noisy environment such as strong wind and waves.

The company is also said to have announced the “Super Signal Project” for three scenarios that include remote mountainous areas/ rural areas with poor signal coverage, urban areas with complex signal, and indoor home office areas. The company also said that it has upgraded the low-frequency n28 band, and n8 band to support Super Quad low-frequency antenna technology.

Oppo Find X7 series expected specifications

Oppo Find X7 series can come with three models Oppo Find X7, Find X7 Ultra, and Find X7 Ultra Satellite Communication version. Oppo Find X7 can be powered by Dimensity 9300 processor while the Ultra model can be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.

As per the report, both of the Ultra models can come with the same camera specs. It can come with a 50-megapixel LYT-600 ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel IMX890 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel IMX858 periscope telephoto camera with 6x optical zoom all joining the OIS-enabled 50-megapixel LYT-900 primary camera.

As far as Find X7 is concerned it can come with a 50-megapixel LYT-808 main camera with OIS support. A 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide camera and a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom can be available to complement it.

All three models can come with the same battery of 5,000 mAh that supports 100W fast wired charging while Ultra models can support 50W wireless charging.
