Oppo Find X7 Ultra Satellite Communication Version Bluetooth SIG certified, launch timeframe tipped

Last week, OPPO announced the Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra in China. At the launch, the company confirmed that the latter comes with support for two-way satellite communication. However, it appears that there are two versions of the X7 Ultra: one that supports satellite connectivity and the other that is dubbed the Find X7 Ultra Satellite Communication Version. A recent Weibo post from tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that the latter is not yet available for purchase. At the same time, a new Bluetooth SIG listing that has emerged today reveals that the X7 Ultra model that supports satellite communication has a dedicated model number.

As can be seen in the above image, the Find X7 Ultra and Find X7 Ultra Satellite Communication Version have PHY110 and PHY120 model numbers, respectively. According to DCS, the satellite edition variant could be available for purchase in March in China. As far as other specs are concerned, the satellite communication variant is likely to pack the same internals as the Find X7 Ultra.

The Find X7 Ultra has a 6.82-inch AMOLED Quad HD+ 120Hz display, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, up to 16 GB of RAM, up to 1 TB of storage, a 5,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, and runs on ColorOS 14-based Android 14. It has a 32-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel (LYT-900) + 50-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 50-megapixel (3x periscope zoom) + 50-megapixel (6x periscope zoom) quad-camera system.
