OPPO Find X7 Ultra tipped to be the Only 2024 Smartphone with Dual Periscope; Xiaomi 14 Ultra a Strong Competitor?
OPPO, the leading Chinese smartphone maker, brought out two new smartphone devices early this month under the brand’s Find X7 series, and the Ultra model became the very first device to support dual periscope.
An update has arrived that claims that more devices will likely be coming with dual periscope telephoto lenses, but for this year, only the Find X7 Ultra will carry this camera spec.

OPPO Find X7 Ultra – Only 2024 Dual Periscope Smartphone
This new update is from the tipster Digital Chat Station, who in a Weibo post has noted that as per the details received from the supply chain, many other companies are also trying to adopt the dual periscope design for their upcoming smartphone devices.
However, the tipster has further added that in 2024, the Find X7 Ultra device of OPPO will be the only smartphone to have dual periscope telephoto lenses on the rear camera module. In addition to hardware, brands will also have to develop the required algorithms and effects in order to incorporate the design into their upcoming devices, therefore the delay.
Notably, another Weibo user has commented on DCS’ post pointing out certain specs of the upcoming Xiaomi 14 Ultra smartphone and how it will be a strong competitor for the latest OPPO Find X7 Ultra device. The HyperOS custom skin, Leica collaboration, Leica Optical Summilux customized lens, four-sided curved display with narrow bezels, titanium middle frame, Dragon Crystal glass, and ring-shaped cooling system are said to stand out on the upcoming Xiaomi 14 Ultra smartphone. Fierce competition can be expected for devices such as the Honor Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design, OPPO Find X7 Ultra, and Vivo X100 Ultra.
