OPPO Find X7 Ultra, Vivo X100 Pro+ tipped to redefine portrait photography experience

OPPO is scheduled to unveil the Find X7 and X7 Ultra on Jan. 8 in China. It is speculated that Vivo will announce the Vivo X100 Pro+ in Q2 2024. In a new Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station has claimed that both the X7 Ultra and X100 Pro+ will redefine the portrait photography experience.

While the upcoming Find X7 Ultra and X100 Pro+ will feature the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform, both devices will have different sets of cameras for portrait photography. According to the leaker, the Find X7 Ultra has two independent periscope portrait lenses: a 65mm and a 135mm, both equipped with a dual-focal angle of view.

As previous leaks have suggested, the X7 Ultra’s camera system is likely to include two 50-megapixel periscope telephoto cameras, potentially the IMX890 and IMX858 sensors, offering 3x and 6x optical zoom, respectively. This powerful combination sets the stage for exceptional long-range photography and detailed close-ups.

On the other hand, the X100 Pro+ will stand out with its ability to create 50mm portraits using fused focal lengths, coupled with 100mm independent lens low-light periscope portraits. To recall, the tipster previously revealed that the X100 Pro+ is equipped with a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. He added that in its current engineering state, it offers a 100mm focal length, 4.3x optical zoom, and up to 200x digital zoom.
