Oppo Find X8 Series to launch soon globally with Hasselblad Master Camera System, confirms Pete Lau
Following its launch in China, OPPO has officially confirmed via press release that its Find X8 series will be released globally soon. This confirmation follows the device’s appearance on several key global certification websites, lending credence to earlier speculation about its international debut.
Our exclusive reporting suggests that OPPO may launch the series during the Diwali celebrations in the Indian market, though some rumours point to a November release. Whilst a definitive launch date remains unconfirmed, Pete Lau, SVP and Chief Product Officer at OPPO has shared exciting details about the series.
“The Find X8 series sets a new standard for smartphone excellence, combining our superior Hasselblad Master Camera System with next-generation performance, battery technology, and a leap forward for OPPO AI as part of ColorOS 15,” said Lau. “The Find X8 is incredibly thin and light despite its ultra-powerful performance across the board, and the Find X8 Pro is a camera flagship pushing industry limits with its incredible zoom.”
It is expected that the global variant to maintain the same specifications as its Chinese counterpart. Additionally, ColorOS 15 will be making its way to global markets alongside the device launch.
The announcement brings particularly welcome news for Indian smartphone enthusiasts, who will finally have the opportunity to experience the Find X Series. This development follows months of speculation after the Find X7 series wasn’t launched in India, leading to widespread anticipation that the Find X8 Series (Find X8 and Find X8 Pro) would indeed reach the Indian market—a prediction that has now been confirmed.
Further details about the global launch are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
