Oppo is to soon come with self developed processors for smartphones

It was recently when we all witnessed the Marisilicon by Oppo that Oppo developed by itself. This was its own imaging chipset that made some visible improvements in terms of photography and videography on the device it used. And now it’s about another milestone that it’s working to achieve. Oppo is currently working on a self-developed processor for smartphones. If we talk about the launch of this it would be most probably by next year. This news has come out through a digital blogger who has access to a Taiwanese semiconductor industry chain.

The blogger revealed that OPPO is currently working on developing an application processor for smartphones. As far as its mass production is concerned it will start in the third quarter and will employ 4nm FinFET power technology and an external fabric 5G modem. This news has been confirmed by Weibo blogger digitalchatstation. According to him, the self-research chip will arrive in 2024.

We would have to wait for a while to witness this achievement by Oppo as it is extensively trying to broaden its reach from tech to healthcare facilities and no doubt this will add up in its portfolio.
