OPPO Launches its Latest K12 Plus Smartphone in China: Pre-Sale Now Live; Official Sale on October 15th
The Chinese smartphone maker, OPPO, has finally debuted its K12 Plus smartphone in China. The device has been released in three storage options and two color choices, and the pre-sale for the different models are now live with an official sale set to begin in three days.

OPPO K12 Plus Launched in China
The latest OPPO K12 Plus smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor with a primary clock speed of 2.63 GHz, and has the ColorOS 14 custom skin based on the Android 14 operating system out of the box. The device comes in three storage options of 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 12GB/512GB.
It has an AMOLED display panel with a screen size of 6.7″, resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels, pixel density of 394 PPI, peak brightness rate of up to 1100 nits, refresh rate of up to 120Hz, and a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz. The display also supports P3 wide color gamut and 1.07 billion colors.
At the rear, the smartphone brings a dual rear camera unit, featuring a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra wide lens. For selfies, a front facing camera of 16MP has also been given.
Regarding the battery, it is equipped with a 6400 mAh large battery and for a fast charging experience, an up to 80W wired fast charging feature is also supported.
Other key specs include 5G network connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB type-C port, OTG, infrared remote control, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. OPPO’s K12 Plus smartphone weighs 192 gm, and is 8.37 mm thin. Two color variants will be provided – Snow Peak White and Black Basalt
Price and Availability
About the price and availability, the 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB storage variants are priced at CNY 1899 and CNY 2099, but as part of its pre-sale, is available now at CNY 1799 and CNY 1999. The pre-sale price of the 12GB/512GB model is CNY 2499, however, its actual price is not yet declared. Customers can also add a gift box too by paying CNY 19.9 extra, containing a power bank worth CNY 149 and a metal mobile phone holder worth CNY 39, along with other benefits. To add, the official sale will commence on the 15th of October 2024, three days later, at 10 AM local time in China.
