OPPO Officially Announces the Find N5 Global Launch; Color Choices Shared; OPPO Watch X2 Also Launching Alongside
In an exciting turn of events, OPPO, the Chinese smartphone maker, has now confirmed its much awaited Find N5 smartphone launch globally. The official global launch event of the OPPO Find N5 smartphone has been announced for this month, and its color choices to be made available have also been shared. The same day will also see the debut of the brand’s Watch X2 smartwatch as well.

OPPO Find N5 and Watch X2 – Global Launch
The OPPO Chief Product Officer – Pete Lau recently teased that the Find N5 foldable would be featuring a no-crease main display and IPX6/IPX8/IPX9-rated body, and following this, the upcoming device has now been officially set to debut globally this month itself. The OPPO Find N5 Global Launch Event is scheduled to take place on the 20th of February 2025 in Singapore at 7 PM (GMT+8), and it will also be live streamed via the brand’s official YouTube channel.
Speaking more, this upcoming device has been teased with the tagline – ‘Slim, Yet Powerful’, also suggesting other notable key specs like AI capabilities and Hasselblad co-developed camera system. In the global market, consumers will be able to get it in Cosmic Black and Misty White colors, whereas in the Chinese market, these are to be marketed as Satin Black and Jade White colors. Moreover, an additional Twilight Purple color choice would also be made available to consumers in China.
To add, its thin form factor design was also teased earlier, with other reports pointing to a possible folded thickness of 9.x mm and unfolded thickness of 4.2 mm. Also, the pre-booking for the OPPO Find N5 smartphone and OPPO Watch X2 smartwatch went live recently in the Chinese market, and OPPO’s Watch X2 smartwatch with a new aviation-grade titanium bezel is also launching alongside the Find N5 foldable on the same day itself as expected. About the Watch X2 smartwatch, it would be coming in three colors and the Blue color model has been revealed.
As the official launch date has now been announced, the brand will obviously start teasing its next generation horizontal-folding smartphone (as well as the latest smartwatch) and with the launch, the availability and pricing details will be known. OPPO’s Find N5 smartphone has already been certified by the 3C, CMIIT, NBTC, EEC, SIRIM, SDPPI, and Camera FV 5 authorities and it has also been spotted on the Geekbench database. Few of its revealed key specs are the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite (7-core) chip, 6.85″± 1.5K resolution LTPO main display, super large cover display, 50MP (1/1.5) large bottom main camera, 50MP (1/2.76″) ultra-wide camera, periscope telephoto camera, 80W wired & 50W wireless fast charging, reverse charging, NFC connectivity, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Also to note, this device is also believed to arrive as the next OnePlus Open 2 smartphone as well.
