OPPO Pad 2 confirmed to feature Dimensity 9000, 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage
OPPO will announce the OPPO Find X6 series of flagship phones and the OPPO Pad 2 tablet tomorrow in China. Earlier rumours about the tablet said that it would have a MediaTek chip, but a recent listing of the device on Geekbench showed that it could have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset instead. Just before the official announcement, OPPO confirmed the name of the chipset that powers the Oppo Pad 2.
The OPPO Pad 2 will be powered by the Dimensity 9000 chipset. It is the same chip that powers the OnePlus Pad and the upcoming Vivo Pad 2. Some reports have claimed that the Pad 2 will be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Pad, which is slated to release in the global market in April.
The poster also confirms that the D9000-powered OPPO Pad 2 will be equipped with 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The official images released by the brand reveal that the tablet will arrive with support for a stylus and keyboard. It will be available in two colours, grey and gold.
Other reports say that the OPPO Pad 2 will have an 11.6-inch IPS LCD screen with a 2.8K resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. It will have an 8-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel rear camera.
The tablet will run on ColorOS for Pad-based Android 13 OS. It will have a 9,510mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.
