Oppo Pad 3 tipped to offer 16GB RAM, 512GB storage, 9,500mAh battery
Oppo is likely to announce the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro this month in China. The same event may see the arrival of the Oppo Pad 3 tablet. Recent reports have claimed that the Pad 3 could be the world’s first tablet to come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Today, tipster Digital Chat Station took to Weibo to reveal a few more details about the device.
DCS revealed that the customised high-resolution 3K LCD screen of the Oppo Pad 3 may see a slight increase in size. However, he did not mention the exact screen size. Under the hood, the device will have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, 16 GB of RAM, and 512 GB of built-in storage.
The leak further states that the Pad 3 will pack a new battery with a rated value of 9,230mAh. The typical value of the battery could be 9,500mAh. At present, there is no information about the fast charging capabilities of the device.
To recall, the Oppo Pad 2, which debuted in March 2023, featured an 11.61-inch LCD panel that offers a 2.8K resolution. The device featured the Dimensity 9000 chipset, and its topmost variant offered a 12GB+256GB configuration. In addition, it has a 9,510mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
Reports have claimed that the Oppo Pad 3 will be rebranded as the OnePlus Pad 2 in the global market. At present, there is no information about the launch timeframe of the OP2 tablet.
