Oppo Pen found to be working on OnePlus first foldable OnePlus Open

OnePlus’ first foldable smartphone, the OnePlus Open, was recently launched in India and the global market. Now this phone despite having a premium price tag lacks a few things including wireless charging and stylus support.

Just recently a Reddit user Rashed341 posted(Via Nextpit) a video on the OnePlus subreddit. This video shows a user using an Oppo Pen on the OnePlus Open cover and main display. And surprisingly it is functional on the OnePlus Open. The Oppo pen came with the Oppo Find N2 which is the predecessor of the Oppo Find N3 on which the OnePlus Open is based.

The user further went ahead to show the stylus menu page inside the settings app of the OnePlus Open. Now this does show its compatibility with the stylus but also raises the question as well why OnePlus chose to keep this away from the smartphone’s marketing material.

Specifications of OnePlus Open

The OnePlus Open smartphone comes with a 7.82-inch wide Flexi-fluid AMOLED with LTPO 3.0 display that sports a 120 Hz refresh rate.
