Oppo Reno 12 Series Design Render Leaked Ahead Of Launch

Oppo can soon launch the Reno 12 series in the Chinese market. This series was earlier tipped to come in May, but a recent report hints towards its launch in June month of this year. As of now, only a few alleged specs of the series have surfaced on the internet, but for the first, its alleged design render has come out. This alleged design render has been shared by a Weibo user named Fixed Focus Digital. As per the alleged render of the Reno 12 series, there is a significant deviation in design from its predecessor.

Unlike the Reno 11 series, the Reno 12 series is shown with a triple camera setup on the rear aligned vertically on a protruding rectangular island with an LED flash. Those who know will say that Oppo is going back in time to copy the design for its upcoming series. A similar design was last seen in the Reno 6 series and thereafter it has gone under multiple design changes rather than abiding by a basic design for the series. The volume and power rockers are on the right side of the render. It has been shown in the Wave Green colour option.

Expected specs of Reno 12 series

The Reno 12 series can come with Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro smartphones. The Reno 12 can be powered by Dimensity 8300 while the Reno 12 Pro can be powered by Dimensity 9200 Plus processor. The Reno 12 Pro smartphone is tipped to come with a 6.7″ wide OLED panel with micro curvature on all four sides. Both of the smartphones’ displays can offer 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The Reno 12 Pro smartphone can come with a 50-megapixel main camera and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. As far as charging is concerned the report says that the standard version can support 67W charging while the Pro can support 80W charging.
