Oppo launched the Reno 12 Series first in China and later was launched in the Global markets with changed specs. However, it didn’t launch in India at that time. Just a few days ago, teasers started to appear, confirming that the Indian launch was imminent, although the launch date wasn’t announced. Today, Oppo officially announced that it will launch the Oppo Reno 12 Series in the Indian market on July 12th, as we reported earlier in our exclusive story. The series will include a vanilla variant, Reno 12, and a Pro variant, Reno 12 Pro.
The specifications are expected to be similar to what we have seen in the global variant. However, the Indian variant may come with slight changes in memory options. According to our exclusive story, the vanilla variant is expected to come in a single memory option of 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, while the Pro variant will have two memory options: 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB.
It has also been revealed that the Reno 12 will be available in three colour options: Matte Brown, Sunset Pink, and Astro Silver. The Reno 12 Pro will come in two colour options: Space Brown and Sunset Gold. Unlike the global variant, the Nebula Silver colour option is not coming to India at this time. Personally, I really liked that colour option, but it is what it is.
